Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks candidates for a Retail Personal Banker I program. Selected individuals will complete a 9-week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification to advance within the Retail Personal Banker family.

The role emphasizes consultative selling to proactively identify financial needs, acquisition of new households, and deepening relationships across Financial Centers or Bank Marts, while performing teller duties as part of the platform

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience required or preferred.
• Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities and cross-selling.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment (NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to identify current and future financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with partners to provide holistic financial solutions.
