Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking candidates for the Retail Personal Banker I program, a 4- to 8-week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. Selected candidates will pursue certification to qualify for the Retail Personal Banker job family.

The role focuses on using consultative sales techniques to identify and meet the financial needs of customers and prospects, while handling teller transactions and contributing to platform staff success.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to perform sales and cross-sell to customers.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to identify financial needs and profile customers.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Assist in opening/servicing Retail products and processing teller transactions.
• Collaborate with partners to refer customers for mortgage, small business, and investments.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals.
