Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is hiring a Personal Banker I in Mableton, GA. The role begins with a 4-8 week onboarding and education program including rotations in operations and Sales & Service, followed by a certification to perform as a Personal Banker I within the Retail Personal Banker job family.

The position focuses on using consultative sales to address customer needs, acquiring new households, and deepening relationships through lobby leadership, aisle time, and tele-consulting.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell existing customers.
• Ability to understand and analyze basic credit and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Set appointments for periodic financial reviews with clients.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
• Collaborate with partners across Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment to provide holistic solutions.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and revenue goals while ensuring ethical behavior.
