Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Personal Banker I in Niles, Michigan, to begin with a 9-week onboarding program that includes rotations in operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification for advancement within the Retail Personal Banker family.

The position focuses on consultative selling, acquiring new households, deepening relationships, and handling teller transactions while contributing to risk management and an exceptional customer experience in a banking center or Bank Mart

Qualifications

• Experience with consultative selling and identifying customer financial needs.
• Ability to handle teller transactions and promote banking products.
• Strong communication and professional presentation required.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process to build customer profiles and assess needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and proactively suggest solutions.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
• Collaborate with partnered teams (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial) to provide holistic solutions.
