Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Florida is seeking a Retail Personal Banker I candidate who will participate in a 4-8 week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role focuses on consultative selling, acquiring new households, and deepening relationships while handling teller transactions as part of the platform team.

You will work to meet financial center goals, collaborate with Mortgage, Small Business, and Investment partners, and uphold risk and compliance standards

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers.
• Ability to analyze financial information using basic math.
• Professional appearance and strong verbal/written communication.
• Understanding of Retail policies and procedures.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at employment.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process and needs assessment to identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and solutions to upsell.
• Set appointments for periodic financial reviews using approved tools.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with partners to provide holistic financial solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals.
• Guide CSRs on sales and referral processes.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and protect confidentiality.
• Follow code of conduct and policies, and manage retail product openings/servicing.
• Participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes from application to closing.
