Fifth Third Bank, N.A. is recruiting for a Float Personal Banker Associate I in the North Cincinnati region.

The role develops through a 4-8 week onboarding and rotations in operations, Sales & Service, and a certification program to qualify for Retail Personal Banker duties. The position emphasizes consultative selling to determine customer financial needs, cross-selling to the existing base, and partnering with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment teams to deliver holistic

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell.
• Ability to understand advanced math functions for credit/financial analysis.
• Professional appearance and communication.
• Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures and good judgment.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at employment (NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to build customer profiles and identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and services and recommend solutions.
• Set appointments for financial reviews using approved tools.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Coordinate with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners to refer customers.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals.
• Guide CSRs on sales and referral processes.
• Promote customer satisfaction with professionalism and helpful demeanor.
• Address customer questions and own issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of business information.
• Follow company Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Open/serve Retail products per policies.
• Participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes from application to close.
• Assist in opening/closing of Financial Center or Bank Mart as directed.
