Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Float Personal Banker I to join a 4–8 week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role emphasizes consultative selling to identify and meet customer needs while handling teller transactions as part of the platform team.

Focus will be on acquiring new households and deepening relationships, collaborating with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners to deliver holistic financial solutions.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or, combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to established customers.
• Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions that will allow for analysis of credit and financial information.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the NMLS.
• Professional appearance and verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers for periodic financial reviews and set appointments.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
• Collaborate with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners to provide holistic solutions.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals and contribute to revenue growth.
