Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate for the Sierra location in Reno, NV. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing and a positive customer experience while maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities include training Associates, prioritizing tasks, and safeguarding inventory. The role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and teamwork to support store goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing directions.
• Team player with peers and supervisors.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodations.
• Able to train others and lead small teams.
• At least 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Promotes honesty and integrity and maintains confidentiality.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise for the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, coded, and on the sales floor.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth flow of goods.
