Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an Operations Manager/Merchandising Manager to oversee store operations or merchandising, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient processes. You will coach associates to execute merchandising standards, manage floor replenishment, and lead pricing, sign changes, and ticketing to support sales growth.

You will also lead training for new hires, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with Loss Prevention to protect assets while delivering a compelling shopping experience aligned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising teams or associates with coaching to daily goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities for quick decisions.
• Strong people management and talent development skills.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and/or merchandising to drive sales and profitability.
• Coach and develop associates to execute operational, service and merchandising processes.
• Maintain product on the sales floor based on sell-through and seasonal changes.
• Lead POS and customer service to deliver fast, friendly service and an engaging customer experience.
• Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand direction and is clear and compelling.
• Direct floor remerchandising and replenishment based on business needs.
• Train and guide associates on company merchandising direction and pricing/ticketing practices.
• Support loss prevention and protect product through policies and daily practices.
• Manage training for new hires focusing on processes, inventory, merchandising and Kohl's tools.
• Uphold store standards, safety, and policy adherence.
