Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. seeks an Operations Associate to support in-store logistics, shipping and receiving stock, and merchandising to the planogram.

The role focuses on collaboration, customer focus, initiative, and strong organizational/tech skills to ensure a great customer experience. The position requires lifting up to 40lbs, the ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours, and weekend/holiday/evening hours.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding ofMicrosoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control related tasks.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle Counting of Inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash Handling.
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
