Guitar Center Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the team responsible for receiving, stocking, merchandising, and displaying gear according to planograms and promotions. The role emphasizes integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and a culture of respect.

The Operations Manager will partner with the Store Manager to meet EBITDA targets, manage staffing, implement training, supervise logistics, and ensure loss prevention and accurate reporting across the store.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in retail or warehouse settings.
• Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance.
• Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Must work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the Store Manager and other management to achieve EBITDA, sales and margin goals.
• Ensure proper staffing levels within the department including hiring and training operations associates.
• Assist in training all levels of operations associates.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other store items.
• Warehouse organization and stocking; maintenance of the facility.
• Loss prevention and safety, inventory management, cash handling and business reporting.
• Conduct signage and pricing audits weekly to ensure planogram compliance.
• Drive sales by acting as manager in charge when necessary.
• Open and close the store.
• Additional duties as assigned.
