Job summary

Guitar Center seeks an Operations Manager to lead a team ensuring merchandise is received, stocked, and merchandised per planograms and promotions. The role focuses on building a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect while driving EBITDA and store performance.

You will partner with the Store Manager and manage staffing, training, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and loss prevention. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in retail or warehouse settings.
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
• Ensure proper staffing levels within the department including hire and train operations associates.
• Assist in training all levels of operations associates.
• Oversee shipping and receiving of gear and store items.
• Maintain warehouse organization and stock; uphold facility standards.
• Conduct signage and pricing audits to ensure planogram compliance.
