Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking an experienced retail leader to oversee store operations across multiple locations. You will drive talent development, ensure revenue and budget targets, and partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and policy adherence.

You will supervise Store Managers, manage staffing, scheduling, and disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with safety and loss prevention standards while coordinating with HR for staff relations and separations.

Qualifications

• At least seven (7) years’ experience in oversight of stores with varying operational complexity and sales volumes, with supervisory responsibility.
• Adaptability, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, strong math and leadership communication.
• College degree in business administration/management or marketing is highly desired.
• Ability to motivate staff to achieve department goals, including guiding team members with disabilities and disadvantaged.
• Ability to prepare and monitor large scale budgets.
• Able to operate POS systems, including cash registers and Bank Card Draft Capture Terminals and train employees on their use.
• Knowledge of used goods processing and related operations.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the overall retail operations, talent development, and employee relations within their assigned territory.
• Works with Senior Retail Director and VP of DGR to create strategies and budget controls for the Goodwill stores.
• Ensures revenue, sales and production goals are achieved and standards for production/merchandising, safety, and customer service are met.
• Oversees store operations with the retail management team for multiple locations, ensuring safe, customer-friendly operations.
• Partners with HR for employee relations and separations; supervises Store Managers and oversees staffing, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintains records, coordinates with executive leadership on facility management, and supports loss prevention measures.
