Job summary

Sikorsky Credit Union in Stratford, CT is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead the branch network’s daily operations, uphold standards, compliance, and service excellence for members.

You will design and implement procedures, monitor performance metrics, conduct internal audits, and partner with Branch Managers to improve efficiency, risk controls, and the member experience across locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail banking or credit unions.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state banking laws and compliance.
• Excellent sales, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain mortgage loan originator registration (NMLS) and notary designation within 120 days.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations across locations.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and service standards.
• Partner with Branch Managers to boost efficiency and member service.
• Manage internal controls, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor audits, exceptions, and incidents of fraud or losses.
• Coordinate with vendors for ATM and cash services.
