Job summary

The position requires 1-2+ years in retail management, a high school diploma, and the ability to coach staff, manage schedules, and uphold Ulta’s standards. The MM reports to the Operations Manager and leads through Ulta Beauty’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of fast-paced, retail management, or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: drive top-line sales, interpret reporting data, manage payroll budgets, and control expenses.
• Strong leadership: attract, develop, and motivate top talent and lead others through change.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet or exceed store goals for sales, loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and top-line sales growth.
• Schedule and payroll budgeting to maximize productivity within budget.
• Review and react to store financial and operational reports and audits.
• Lead makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demos to boost guest service and sales.
