Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead store operations, payroll, and inventory management, driving sales and exceptional guest experiences. The MM will guide a team, ensure adherence to policies, and partner with leadership to optimize performance across all store tasks.

The role requires 1-2+ years in retail management, a high school diploma (preferred), and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of fast-paced retail management or related work experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to drive sales, manage payroll and inventory, and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote accountability to meet store goals for sales, loyalty, payroll, omni‑channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence and top‑line sales growth.
• Leverage forecasts and budgets to optimize scheduling within payroll limits.
• Review financial and operational reports and act on insights.
• Lead makeup/skincare consultations to drive guest experience and sales.
