Job summary

Makita USA in Flowery Branch, GA is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to support the Home Depot Retail Accounts team, bridging retail sales and channel marketing, owning THD project planning and execution with CAMs and the National Field Sales Coordinator. The role requires 4+ years in field sales, experience with Home Depot supplier systems, and knowledge of store project planning in large-box retail.

It is a hybrid position based in Flowery Branch with travel to area stores and trade shows,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, project management, or related field.
4+ years of field sales experience or equivalent.
Experience with Home Depot supplier-facing systems (Supplier Hub, MLX/Merch Logix, Planogram Portal).
Knowledge of Home Depot store project planning and large-box retail environments.

Responsibilities

Gather information from Retail CAMs to design proactive field sales strategies.
Bridge between retail sales and THD channel marketing during store executions.
Facilitate THD project planning for signage, fixtures, and in-store assets.
Oversee MLX/MET projects from inception to end, including POG creation and audits.
Monitor assortments/AMTs/POGs monthly and communicate changes to CAM team.
Serve as primary contact for MET leaders and THD space planning teams.
Conduct field research and store walks, delivering findings to CAM team.
