This role is responsible for merchandising and inventory management, pet care operations, opening and/or closing the store, overseeing associates, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability required; flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications and basic software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and remain composed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct store operations to ensure execution of merchandising and inventory strategies.
• Oversee merchandise handling, product placement, displays, and promotions.
• Operate POS systems and manage cash transactions per policy.
• Ensure store standards, policies, and Code of Ethics are followed.
• Coordinate opening and closing procedures and staffing coverage.
• Support and develop associates through training, onboarding, mentoring, and feedback.
