Job summary

rag & bone is seeking an Operations Supervisor in New York to maintain store operations and support leadership. You will help ensure a seamless customer experience by overseeing inventory, POS, repairs, and store maintenance in partnership with management and IT.

The role requires 2-4 years in retail stock/logistics or related fields, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and brand representation. This full-time position entails 32–40 hours weekly and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of prior work experience in retail stock, logistics, operations, or back of house management.
• Ability to supervise inventory and optimize storage across product categories.
• Familiarity with POS and store IT systems in partnership with IT.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Management to ensure brand representation through product, store maintenance, and customer service.
• Supervise inventory and stock management.
• Maximize storage and capacity across product and supply categories.
• Investigate and rectify inventory discrepancies.
• Drive low shrink and high accuracy through all inventory touchpoints.
• Communicate and follow up on store maintenance issues.
• Serve as store expert in operational systems; educate staff and troubleshoot with IT.
• Assist sales team with POS, repairs, dry-cleaning, and alterations processes.
• Understand BOH/FOH IT systems, including POS transactions.
• Lead Sales Support team in store initiatives.
• Provide training and direction to reports and peers.
• Resolve customer service issues with store management.
• Manage customer repairs, dry-cleaning, and alterations programs.
• Meet store and metric goals; uphold brand mission.
• Maintain knowledge of all policies and procedures; act on core values.
• Identify opportunities to deliver best-in-class customer service through product knowledge and ownership.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented store atmosphere.
