Job summary

Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, including loading/unloading trailers, textiles processing, inventory, merchandising and customer service. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and adherence to safety and policy standards.

You'll train and supervise staff, ensure accurate cash handling, banking procedures, and align with the organization's equal opportunity policies while supporting growth and efficient store performance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise and train employees in cashiering, banking, stock, and display.
• Must maintain ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of store employees and volunteers in absence of Store Manager.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control to meet revenue goals.
• Operate cash register and ensure accurate handling of cash, checks, and payments.
• Perform banking procedures, including reconciliation of daily statements.
• Train staff in retail procedures and customer service excellence.
• Maintain store appearance, housekeeping, safety, and security standards.
• Handle stocking, display, and inventory duties; process merchandise orders as assigned.
