Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking an Assistant Retail Operations Manager in Arlington, TX. The role oversees store operations, supervises staff, and coordinates with the Retail Operations Manager to maximize efficiency and customer service.

The position requires 2 years in retail with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, strong math and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Expect full-time hours, varying shifts, and travel within locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have two years experience in a retail operation including at least one year with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong math and communication capabilities with leadership skills demonstrated in previous employment and/or position.
• Must be able to adapt and manage change.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned employees in carrying out normal duties in the processing and retail sales areas and assist the Retail Operations Manager to coordinate efforts between production and store to provide for maximum efficiency.
• Assist the Retail Operations Manager in the supervision and training of staff in designated areas.
• Create an atmosphere of exceptional internal and external customer service. Assist with conflict resolution and the hiring process as directed.
• Assist in the operation of the retail store including maintenance of stock, display of merchandise, and record keeping according to merchandising policies.
• Perform daily administrative/clerical functions of store operations such as opening/closing, ordering supplies, setting schedules, and assisting payroll and RBI/PBI components.
• Assist in directing maintenance and housekeeping for a safe, secure, and orderly facility; ensure safety training requirements are met.
