Job summary

Family Dollar in Fayetteville, GA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards are met.

You'll supervise and train store associates, uphold safety policies, manage losses and payroll records, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for shoppers. This role is full-time and local to Fayetteville.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and frequent standing, walking, bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, approachable manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain records including payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
