Job summary

Guitar Center Stores, Inc. in Peoria, IL seeks an Operations Associate to help manage store inventory, ship/receive gear, and keep products neatly merchandised for a great customer experience.

The role requires teamwork, customer focus, and the ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment, including weekends and evenings. Lifting up to 40 lbs is required and training on store systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control tasks to ensure stock accuracy.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and items for the store.
• Cycle counting of inventory and reconciliation.
• Stocking and merchandising to planograms.
• Printing and placing signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash handling and shrink control.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
