Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Retail, overseeing the retail sales associates, shops and the Retail Distribution Center (i.e. receiving, pricing merchandise, and inventory control). This individual is required to carry on-duty phone and be available to work weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all Omni Retail Shops and associates, as well as, the Retail Distribution Center.
- Provide administrative and organizational support to the Director of Retail Operations.
- Full Understanding of each position in the Retail Department and able to cross utilize within the department.
- Proficient knowledge of ALL retail distribution and retail shop jobs with the ability to answer pertinent questions.
- Efficient in all aspects of Yellow Dog, Kronos, OnTrack and Birch Street.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for the retail distribution and retail shops results, various projects & deadlines.
- Communicate with Buyers ways to import clarity of purchase orders.
- Monitor Inventory process.
- Responsible for the inventory, i.e., receiving, and pricing of merchandise, as well as, the coding of invoices for Accounts Payable.
- Maintain associate scheduling and Kronos on a daily basis.
- Responsible for the "signing off" of payroll and the bi-weekly reports for the Payroll Department.
- Responsible for any Birch Street entries and/or receiving.
- Responsible for weekly coaching of all retail associates on good and bad habits to improve job performance, i.e. M.O.S.
- Respondible for interviewing,particiating in job fairs and hiring new associates when needed.
- Maintaining the needs for change in the shops on a daily basis, i.e. getting change to the stores and confirming everything balances.
Able to make decisions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Able to multi-task, have exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in time management.
- Observant to the needs of the retail employees and offers assistance when necessary.

- Must have supervisory experience in a face-to-face, Customer Service environment.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must lead by example; remain professional in all situations.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by guests and co-workers.

- Must be able to work fluctuating schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
