Job summary

David Protein is expanding its Retail Operations team in New York City. This role coordinates line reviews, new item submissions, promotions, and data integrity across retailer portals to support faster, error-free retail execution.

You will own onboarding with retailers, maintain calendars, and partner with Account Managers, Supply Chain, Sales Planning, and Finance to scale a high-growth food brand. Competitive salary and equity offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in retail/sales operations or coordinator functions, ideally at a large CPG brand or brokerage servicing CPG accounts.
• Hands-on familiarity with retailer portals and item-setup processes such as Walmart Retail Link and distributor portals.
• Exceptional organization, accuracy, and attention to detail; misfiled forms are unacceptable.
• Strong ownership of deadlines; ability to chase inputs and close loops without prompting.
• Comfort with high-volume, detail-intensive work and time pressure.
• Clear, proactive communicator across Account Managers and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Line Review & New Item Submissions: assemble and submit packets across retailers, accurate and on deadline.
• Promotions, Features & Display Execution: file promotional forms and coordinate calendar timing.
• Product Information & Data Integrity: keep item attributes, pricing, images, and data in sync across portals.
• Onboarding & Setup: lead vendor setup for new retailers/distributors, including paperwork and portal access.
• Systems & Standards: build trackers and SOPs to scale with portfolio growth.
