Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking an Operations Associate to support store logistics, shipping and receiving gear, and merchandising to planograms. You will help ensure stock accuracy and a great in-store experience for customers.

Responsibilities include inventory control, cycle counting, signage placement, cash handling, shrink control, and other duties as assigned. Must lift up to 40 lbs and work in a loud retail environment, with weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control related tasks.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle counting of inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash handling.
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.
