Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company seeks a store associate to manage money flow and assist customers at the register. You will process transactions, locate products, and verify prices while maintaining accuracy and a friendly attitude.

The role requires attention to tender policies, compliance with tobacco/alcohol regulations, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• AML, TABC/LACT, and HIPAA certifications required.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate money flow in and out of store and process transactions.
• Assist customers with locating products and price verifications.
• Provide efficient checkout services and maintain accuracy.
• Handle requests for money orders, refunds, and other payments.
• Maintain compliance with tender policies and safety procedures.
• Balance cash drawers and report discrepancies to management.
