Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Loan Officer II to serve as a Consumer Direct inside sales mortgage originator. You will advise customers on refinance, first lien, and home equity options, guiding them through the process in compliance with policies and laws.

The target pay range is $125,000 - $300,000+ annually. Responsibilities include prospecting, building rapport, and coordinating with internal partners to close loans while maintaining regulatory disclosures and excellent customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience in mortgage lending preferred.
• Knowledge of refinance transactions and FHA/VA/USDA/HELOC products.
• Knowledge of Carrington underwriting guidelines or ability to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with loan origination software and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and connect with customers via outbound and inbound calls.
• Guide customers to mortgage products that fit their needs.
• Follow up to ensure high-level service and timely closings.
• Adhere to disclosure requirements for all communications.
• Coordinate with partners to ensure smooth file flow and regulatory compliance.
