Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Loan Officer II to act as a Consumer Direct mortgage originator. You will guide clients through refinance or home equity options while explaining mortgage products and ensuring compliant processes.

You’ll work with a team delivering best-in-class service, leveraging leads and mortgage software. The role offers a competitive base with commissions and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, USDA, HELOAN and HELOC product knowledge.
• Knowledge of refinance transactions.
• Familiarity with Carrington underwriting guidelines and investor requirements.
• Experience with Carrington’s loan origination system or ability to learn quickly.
• Experience with mortgage origination software/tools such as Leads360, DU, LP, and appraisal management software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, connect, and build rapport with customers via outbound calls and inbound inquiries.
• Guide customers to suitable mortgage products by assessing needs and collecting documents to close a loan.
• Follow up to ensure high level of best-in-class service.
• Adhere to disclosure requirements for interactions via phone, email, and SMS.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure a smooth file flow.
• Maintain adaptability to changes in the mortgage industry and customer needs.
• Comply with mortgage lending laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
