This position involves sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies, along with effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services. The role requires adherence to policies, providing sound mortgage advice, and assisting with client documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Execute mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed production goals.
2. Maintain knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, Procedures, and investor guidelines.
3. Comply with all Truist policies and legal regulations.
4. Provide mortgage advice based on client needs and product benefits.
5. Refer mortgage clients to other bank solutions for deepening client relationships.
6. Assist with client document follow-up for quality control or post-closing review.

Qualifications

Required:

• 1+ year experience in banking or lending with basic knowledge of residential property types.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
• Compliance with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act within 30 days of employment.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience.
• Two+ years in residential mortgage lending with local market knowledge.
• Previous sales awards and leadership roles.
