Please review the following job description:

Responsible for the sales and marketing of Truist Mortgage Loan products within bank policies and procedures, as well as consistent, effective referrals of mortgage clients for other bank services, including the qualifying package of services and insurance products.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed mortgage production goals.
  2. Maintain thorough knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies, Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines used by Truist.
  3. Adhere to all Truist policies and procedures, especially those related to legal and regulatory compliance.
  4. Provide sound mortgage advice based on client needs and Truist Mortgage products.
  5. Execute Truist's referral process by introducing clients to other bank solutions for deeper relationships.
  6. Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with document follow-up through quality control or post-closing review.

This position is paid solely on commissions based on the applicable standard rate and terms, which may include a salary draw.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in banking or lending with basic knowledge of residential properties.
  • Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
  • Must comply with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act within 30 days of employment, including background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related fields, or equivalent sales experience.
  • Two or more years of residential mortgage lending experience with local market knowledge.
  • Previous sales awards and leadership roles.
Other Job Requirements / Working Conditions
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Accessing and interpreting client info, communication skills for in-person and phone interactions.
  • Work hours include overtime as needed.
  • Travel up to 75%.
