Job summary

Kind Lending in Chicago is seeking experienced Retail Loan Consultants to proactively solicit residential mortgage business and build a residual pipeline while meeting monthly and annual sales goals.

You will develop leads through networking with mortgage, real estate, and related professionals and establish relationships in purchase and refinance markets. Commission-based role with incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of full-time retail loan origination experience.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and researching skills; able to handle confidential information.
• Ability to structure and price loans.
• Active and/or Approved-inactive NMLS license in the state of operation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, self-starting mortgage professional.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Experience with all mortgage loan products (FHA, VA, conventional, jumbo, refinance, purchase).

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport and leverages existing relationships with network and potential borrowers to help achieve mortgage financing goals.
• Consult with customers and analyze financial situations to provide suitable loan solutions.
• Ensure each loan meets customer needs and Kind Lending standards.
• Understand loan origination process and manage applications with operational staff.
• Input and upload applications and customer information into loan origination software.
• Structure and price loans accurately per Kind Lending guidelines.
