Job summary

Columbia Internal is seeking a Merchandising Supervisor to lead the merchandising team, ensuring adherence to company standards and delivering excellent service to assigned accounts. You will work closely with the sales team to optimize merchandising execution in retail environments.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED with preference for a Bachelor’s degree, and prior grocery/retail experience along with supervisory responsibilities. Local travel and full-time hours apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and make recommendations regarding sales, delivery and merchandising service levels in the retail marketplace.
• Provide assistance with customer calls, complaints and issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain positive relationships and direct communication with store personnel and sales and delivery teams.
• Work with merchandising and sales team members on a continual basis to train, support and evaluate needs.
• Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with throughout your job.
• Assist Merchandising Manager with time keeping responsibilities within HRIS.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times.
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.
