Job Title: Retail Merchandising Supervisor at Staples Stores

Key Responsibilities

1. Process accurate and efficient inventory controls, including Zero Balance, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, Cross Channel Returns, and Reserve online pick up in store.
2. Execute all product activities such as truck unloading, sorting, stocking, and maintaining stock levels.
3. Implement weekly planograms and seasonal promotional merchandising changeovers.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service and understand basic selling skills to engage and present solutions to customers.
5. Create an inviting store environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization.
6. Perform front-end duties including cashiering, returns, and online reservations.
7. Provide store leadership as the “Manager on Duty” when scheduled.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs.
• Understanding of merchandising and retail operations.
• Experience managing and coaching a team or supervising others.
• Excellent customer engagement skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a high-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 100 pounds, climb ladders, and stand/walk continuously.

• Integrity and honesty in handling customer and business information.
• Preferred: Key holder experience in retail (not required).
