Role Overview

The Global Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the global Health Information Services (HIS) staff. The role focuses on global operations management, training, and ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental projects. The supervisor provides support to the Global Health Information Operations Manager and is responsible for maintaining workflow, productivity, and handling escalations within the global HIS team.

This position requires travel to India for at least two weeks once per quarter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a knowledge expert for global partners
  • Lead training of global associates
  • Generate reports for global partners, management, and clients
  • Oversee Quality Assurance for global partners
  • Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff
  • Develop and manage workflow for various clients
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures with global partners as needed
  • Inform senior leadership of issues, opportunities, or challenges
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicate work status, site difficulties, and volume fluctuations to management
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Develop Corrective Action Plans and staff development strategies
  • Participate in project teams and committees to advance operational initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safeguard patient records
  • Handle various tasks as directed by the Health Information Operations Manager
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Health Information; 3+ years preferred
  • Experience in leading projects and processes
  • Proficient with phones and office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Attention to detail and compliance in medical records
  • Experience with production metrics preferred
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Problem-solving mindset and forward thinking
  • Ability to contribute ideas and process improvements
  • Effective delegation skills
Additional Information
