Job summary

Michaels Stores in Vienna, VA is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards for accurate pricing and timely promotions.

In this role you will lead store operations, manage SOP adherence, provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, and oversee truck unloading, in-stock routines, planogram execution, and staff development to reduce shrink and improve customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes for timely unloading and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment including backroom and floor.
