Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Columbus-Easton, OH is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising execution, truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards, ensuring accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through effective workload planning.

You will lead operations, stock management, and promotional activities, while coaching team members and maintaining SOP adherence to support store performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Experience with SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance
• Strong workload planning and inventory management
• Merchandising and planogram execution experience
• Pricing, promotions and visual standards know-how

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs for compliance.
• Ensure store conditions, service standards and results meet policy.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and floor flow.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Drive in-stock levels via Store-In-Stock Optimization routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support backroom organization and customer-ready store environment.
• Oversee inventory control, stock movement and shrink reduction.
• Execute ad sets and price changes accurately and timely.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Train and coach team members and develop assigned departments.
