Job summary

Michaels in Columbus, OH seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operating execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store through strong workload planning and inventory control.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, MOD coverage, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead SOPs and company programs for compliance.
• Provide MOD coverage and floor leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution, unloading, and merchandise flow to floor.
• Own workload planning and staffing alignment with store leadership.
• Oversee inventory control, replenishment, and stock movement.
• Execute planogram (POG) and visual standards.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and promotion execution.
• Manage Ship from Store, RTVs and ASN receiving.
• Train, coach, and develop store team members.
• Support a clean, customer-ready environment and backroom organization.
• Contribute to shrink reduction and asset protection.
