Job summary

Michaels in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution to maintain a customer-ready environment.

You will own workload planning, supervise SOP adherence, and drive in-stock levels through effective stock management and visual standards, while coaching team members and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience in merchandising, inventory routines and planogram sets.
• Ability to implement pricing accuracy and promotional execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in adhering to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure store policies and standards are followed; hold team accountable.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Maintain SISO routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and pallet/aisle organization.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and timely; maintain pricing integrity across systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment processes and RTV/ASN handling.
• Manage shrink reduction and asset protection practices.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
