Michaels in Portsmouth, NH seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions, creating a customer-ready store environment.

Lead workload planning, supervise staff, and uphold SOPs while partnering with leadership to optimize in-stock levels and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, pricing changes, and promotional signage.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ASN receiving.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection practices.
