Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations. You will drive in-stock levels, planogram execution, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution while ensuring a customer-ready store environment.

As a key leader, you will manage truck processing, backroom organization, and Store-In-Stock optimization, coaching team members and maintaining standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience managing inventory control and replenishment.
• Ability to execute planograms and maintain visual standards.
• Familiarity with SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage store operations and staff to ensure SOPs and company programs are followed.
• Oversee truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising flow to sales floor.
• Maintain in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy, and pricing integrity.
• Execute planograms, promotional signage, and backroom organization.
• Manage Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs, and ASN receiving.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing training.
