Job summary

TJX Sierra in San Marcos, CA seeks a customer-focused associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficient processing, and deliver a positive shopping experience. This role requires you to train others, manage priorities, and uphold safety, labor laws, and store policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience
• 6 months of leadership experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to lift heavy objects with or without accommodations

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Ensures Associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Monitors productivity of team and coaches as necessary
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
