HomeGoods at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards while delivering an excellent customer experience.

You will help ensure efficient processing, maintain a clean and organized store, and serve as a role model for customer service. The role requires flexible availability, strong communication, the ability to multi-task, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changing priorities.
• Team player who collaborates with peers and supervisors.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Able to train others and share merchandising knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, and coded.
• Communicates with management to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
• Monitors productivity and coaches the team as needed.
• Maintains back stock organization for easy replenishment.
• Upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Promotes safety and adheres to policies and procedures.
