Job summary

HomeGoods, part of TJX Companies, is hiring for a role focused on receiving and merchandising standards to ensure a smooth flow of goods and a superior customer experience. You will mentor Associates, maintain organized backstock, and uphold safety, cleanliness, and inventory controls.

Applicants should have at least 1 year in retail and 6 months in a leadership role, with strong communication and multi-tasking skills. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

• 1 year of retail experience
• 6 months of leadership or supervising experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
• Able to train other Associates

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards
• Ensure Associates process merchandise efficiently and accurately
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain store cleanliness
• Tag, hang, and code merchandise correctly
• Mentor and train Associates on merchandising principles
• Coordinate with management to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor
• Monitor productivity and coach team as needed
• Maintain backroom organization and recovery standards
• Support shrink, safety, and compliance initiatives
