Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Merchandising Associate to drive sales and execution of strategic merchandising within our store. You will suggest vendor products and maintain high standards to create a memorable shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to handle electronic devices and POS systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by sharing product knowledge, trends and style inspiration.
• Merchandise new deliveries from vendor(s) and follow brand-specific merchandising guides.
• Communicate customer needs and shopping patterns to store leadership and vendors.
• Work with store teams to drive best practices for sales and execution.
• Ensure sales floor is properly signed for sales and markdowns.
• Follow store's audit policies and procedures.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect with colleagues and customers.
