Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in University Park, FL is seeking a TJ Maxx store associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll help keep the store clean and organized and interact with guests to ensure a positive experience. This role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards; ensures associates process efficiently.
• Engages with customers to provide an excellent shopping experience.
• Trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Organizes truck deliveries and prioritizes merchandise on the sales floor.
• Ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintains backroom organization and replenishment.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to safety and labor policies.
• Supports credit, loyalty programs, and shrink reduction goals.
