Job summary

The TJ Maxx store team is seeking an associate to deliver a high-quality customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean and organized store, and support operations across departments as needed.

Responsibilities include processing purchases, promoting loyalty programs, and upholding merchandising standards while adhering to safety and loss-prevention guidelines. Prior retail experience is a plus.

• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rings customer purchases and returns accurately and handles cash according to procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and prepares merchandise for the floor.
• Supports store recovery and safety practices throughout the day.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and loss prevention standards.
• Other duties as assigned by store leadership.
