Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking an enthusiastic in-store merchandising associate to support retailers and shoppers. You will build displays, reset shelves with rotation, and monitor inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

You will also back leadership with reporting, scheduling, training, and onboarding new hires, contributing to a friendly, efficient store environment. No prior experience required; training provided and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and friendly communication.
• 18+ years old and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1–2 years merchandising experience; leadership/training ability.
• Reliable transportation to the work location.
• Record daily shift activity using a smartphone/tablet.
• Strong teamwork and a safety-first mindset in retail.

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experienceHave experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
