The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking an in-store merchandising assistant in Washington to support retailers and enhance shopper experiences. You will build displays, reset shelves, rotate products, and track inventory while aiding leadership with reporting and onboarding new hires.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; you must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and have reliable transportation. This position offers growth opportunities within a large network.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising experience preferred.
• Leading and training people is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experienceHave experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
