Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking an in-store merchandising support associate to help retailers meet shoppers’ needs. You will build displays, reset shelves, track inventory, and assist leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

No prior experience is required as training and team support are provided to help you succeed. Growth opportunities abound, plus additional hours may be available and benefits can be customized.

Qualifications

• Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing communication with customers and management.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable transportation to the work location.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experienceHave experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
